European Markets See Some Light, Slightly Hit by Global Turmoil

European markets do not seem to take any effect from the yesterday's fall of Wall Street and today plummet in Asia market.


Stocks in Europe see some ups, despite a huge selloff in Asia markets on Thursday or Wall Street last night as European investors digest corporate earnings and look ahead to a rate decision by the European Central Bank (ECB).

 

At 15:25 in Thailand (European morning trading session)

DAX went up 21.92 points or 0.20% to 11,213.55 points.

FTSE skidded 26.81 points or 0.39% to 6,936.17 points.

CAC rose 34.07 points or 0.69% to 4,987.16 points.

STOXX600 crept 0.07 points or 0.02% to 353,34 points.

 

As for Thailand’s SET, the index had rebounded to gain 2.81 points or 0.17% at 1,626.18 points with ฿54.6 billion in value.
