ECT Asserts Unless Lacks in Qualities, the Submission for PM Candidate Cannot be Undone
The Election Commission of Thailand has clarified that the submission of prime minister candidate cannot be undone unless the candidate lacks quantities or pass away.
Regarding the complaints from People Reform Party’s leader Paiboon Nititawan against Thai Raksa Chart Party on violating election laws by submitting Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya Sirivadhana Barnavadi, older sister of King Rama X, as a candidate for prime minister in the upcoming election, a secretariat of the Election Commission of Thailand (ECT) has clarified the case, saying that according to the election law, the submission cannot be undone unless the candidate lacks quantities or pass away.
