“Sumeth” Affirms NZ Advance Voting Ballots Arrive before General Election

“Sumeth” has confirmed that the advance voting ballots from New Zealand have arrived before the general election.


Mr. Sumeth Damrongchaitham, President of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) has made a clarification over the controversial of the delayed advanced voting ballots from New Zealand that the parcel contained ballots had arrived and stored in the cargo on March 23, 2019. At 19:30 on the next day, an officer from the Ministry of Foreign Affair had collected the parcel which contained the advanced voting ballots.

Mr. Sumeth has asserted that the process of transferring advance ballots from outside the Kingdom of Thailand has been proceeded as what had been done in the past while the collector of ballots has always been the Ministry of Foreign Affair.
