SET closed at 1,724.87 points, fell 2.71 points or 0.16% with a trading value of THB 62.13 billion. The Thai market moved sideways in a narrow range while traded lower from the concern about lower financial reports in 2Q19 after most stocks in the bank sector had announced a lower profit in the quarter.

Analyst expects the index to continue moving in a narrow range tomorrow as investors would slow down their pace to wait and see the policy of the new government as well as the central bank meeting later this week and Fed’s meeting with an expectation of 25 basis points rate cut.

Institutions and Proprietary Trading net sold THB 2,038.57 million to plunge SET to close lower by 3 points while Foreigner investors net bought THB 1,720.68 million.

BTS‘s AGM approved dividend payment of ฿0.42, and no-cost warrant at the ratio of 10:1.
