SAWAD’s 2Q Profit Increase 44% to ฿873m from High Interest Revenue and Lower NPL

Srisawad Corporation Public Company Limited (SAWAD) has reported its 2Q19 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows:

SAWAD recorded a net profit in 2Q19 at THB 873.70 million, increased 43.96% from the same period of last year at THB 606.91 million. The contribution for the increase in net profit was due to the increase of interest revenue of THB 357.92 million or 25.85% from THB 1,384.45 million in 2Q18 to THB 1,742.37 million in 2Q19.

Moreover, the non-performing loans in the second quarter had declined from 5.45% in 2Q18 to 4.32% due to improvement in the debt collection effort.
