DTAC Makes a Rebound to Book ฿1.8bn of Profit in 3Q19 after Recording Lower Cost.

Total Access Communication Public Company Limited (DTAC) has announced its 3Q19 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;

DTAC reports a rebound to book a profit in 3Q19 at 1,817 million baht from a loss of 921 million baht in 3Q18 while posting an increase of over 700% of profit in 9-month period.

The increase was mainly from higher EBITDA, partly offset by higher D&A charges and financial costs while regulatory costs in Q319 amounted to THB 681 million, increasing 5.5% QoQ but declining 54.2% YoY, after end of the concession and remedy period. As a result, regulatory costs currently account for 4.3% of service revenue (excluding IC), which decreased significantly from 9.5% in Q318.
