HM Rips “Sineenat” from All Titles for Creating Confusion-Disrespecting HM's Kindness

Royal Thai Gazette has announced that His Majesty King Rama X has discharged Chao Khun Phra Sineenat Bilaskalayani from all military ranks as well as recalled all insignia due to her lack of loyalty and behavior against His Majesty and Her Majesty Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana.

The announcement was published on late Monday, 21 October 2019, stating that Chao Khun Phra Sineenat Bilaskalayani had opposed the coronation of Her Majesty the Queen and tried to prevent the ceremony. In the meantime, she also tried to pledge His Majesty to appoint her instead of Her Majesty the Queen, according to the announcement from Royal Gazette.

Nevertheless, the coronation took place and His Majesty had bestowed her a new position and named her Chao Khun Phra Sineenat Bilaskalayani. After a close watch by His Majesty, she did not appreciate the kindness of His Majesty and behaved in a manner that did not equal to her title while trying to act as if she was in the same position as Her Majesty.

The action of Chao Khun Phra Sineenat Bilaskalayani created a confusion within the royal institution as well as the public and intended to gain popularity from the people by doing so.

Thus, by the royal command under Sections 9 and 15 of the 2017 constitution, His Majesty had discharged her from all ranks including her royal titles.
