The US House of Representative approaches to vote on a war powers resolution, which aiming to limit the President, Donald Trump, military action against Iran.

On Sunday, Nancy Pelosi, U.S. House Speaker, has published a letter “Dear Colleague on Introduction of War Powers Resolution”, and pointed out that Trump’s last week administration “conducted a provocative and disproportionate military airstrike targeting high-level Iranian military officials.  This action endangered our servicemembers, diplomats and others by risking a serious escalation of tensions with Iran.” And as the action was operated “without the consultation of Congress and without respect for Congress’s war powers granted to it by the Constitution”, “the house will introduce and vote on a War Powers Resolution to limit the President’s military actions regarding Iran” this week.

The attack and the death of the high-commander figure Iranian, Qasem Soleimani has led the conflict between America and Iran getting worse and provoked more tension in the Middle East region. The Iraqi parliament has demanded for the expulsion of all American troops in Iraq, but Trump retaliating by threatened sanctions on Iraq.
