Airlines Announce Canceling Flights to Avoid Middle East Tension!

Today, many airlines have announced canceling some flights and avoiding Iranian airspace regarding the tension spike in the Middle East.


Today, many airlines, including Singapore Airlines, China Airlines and Malaysia Airlines have announced canceling some flights and avoiding Iranian airspace regarding the tension spike in the Middle East.

While Emirates Airlines and its subsidiary airway Flydubai canceled Wednesday Flights to Baghdad. Emirates reported “We are carefully monitoring the developments and are in close contact with the relevant government authorities with regards to our flight operations, and will make further operational changes if required,”

The airline announcements came after the Iranian Revolutionary Guard had lunched several surface-to-surface missiles at US troop bases in Erbil, Iraq. The attack was aimed to response the killing of Revolutionary Guard General Qassem Soleimani by America.
