Thai Cabinets Approve Stimulus Plan to Boost the Economy amid Virus Outbreak

Thai government has approved the resolution for a stimulus package to ease the effect from coronavirus.


On February 4, 2020, the Thai government has approved the resolution for a stimulus package to ease the effect from coronavirus, which has been gravely damaging Thai tourism in 2020.

The measures, issued by Thai Cabinets, include soft loans for tourism-related operators as well as repayment extension to relieve those affected by coronavirus outbreak.

As for filing federal tax, the filing deadline will be extended by another three months which would fall on June 2020. Moreover, the jet fuel tax would be temporarily maintained at ฿0.20/liter, adjusted from ฿4.726/liter.
