Virus Claims 2nd Lives in Hong Kong, Marking the 6th Death Outside China!

A 70-year-old man has died in Hong Kong from the infection of the virus, marking the sixth death from coronavirus outside mainland China.


Hong Kong has reported a second death from coronavirus, reported CNBC, citing a spokeswoman at the Princess Margaret Hospital.

 

A 70-year-old man has died in Hong Kong from the infection of the virus, marking the sixth death from coronavirus outside mainland China and second in Hong Kong. Other countries that fatality occurred are the Philippines, Taiwan, France and Japan.

The spokeswoman said that an official statement from Hong Kong’s authority will be announced in the afternoon.

 

Coronavirus (COVID-19) had 74,185 confirmed cases, which about 74,000 cases are in China, while the virus already claimed 2,004 lives of which nearly 2,000 are Chinese.
