Stocks in Wall Street rebounded in the morning session on Monday, bouncing back after a huge selloff last week, despite knowing that this week could be the toughest for coronavirus hot spots like New York.

German’s Dax soared 5.37%, British FTSE 100 rose 3.02% and Euro Stoxx 50 jumped 4.90%.

Even Though the White House acknowledged that this week could be among the toughest one for the spread of the coronavirus, especially in New York, the administration was optimistic when addressing the situation at a press conference on Sunday, saying that there were signs of stabilization in hospital rates, coupled with other factors.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, New York reported its first daily decline in coronavirus-related death at 594, decreased from Saturday which reported at 630. The slowing decline of death toll in Europe also gave American hopes of easing after the peak.
