“Boris Johnson” Leaves the Hospital as UK Death Toll Hits 10,000!

The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson thanked the doctors and those who saved his life after admitting to the hospital a week ago for his lingering coronavirus symptoms.

 

“Things could have gone either way,” said Boris Johnson on Sunday after being released from the hospital to continue his recovery. “It’s hard to find the words to express my debt,” he added in his video posted on Twitter.

However, the British PM will not immediately be returning to his work, but will continue to take some rest on the advice of his medical team, according to Johnson’s spokesperson.

The UK had just reported additional 737 deaths from hospitals, bringing the total fatality in the kingdom to 10,612.
