Thai Stock Market Roundup on December 8, 2020

SET Index closed at 1,478.92 points, increased 29.09 points or 2.01% with a trading value of 123 billion baht. The analyst stated that the surge in today’s session was higher than anticipated, while outperforming other stock markets due to the fund flow from Foreign Investors after big financial groups overseas upgraded their Outlook on Thailand to Positive/Overweight.

The analyst stated that SET Index could challenge the resistance level at 1,500 points, but might face a slow down during the hike, giving a support level at 1,460-1,455 points and a resistance level at 1,490 points.

– A fund inflow worth 6.68 billion baht from Foreign Investors pushed SET Index to close higher near 30pts with a total trading value of 123 billion baht.

DELTA reached an all time high at ฿332.00/share before closing slightly lower at ฿327.00/share, increased ฿70.00/share or 27.24% with a trading value of 3,764 million baht. Meanwhile, DBS Vickers Securities warned that the share is “Fully Valued”.

JKN expected its revenue to reach 5 billion baht within three years as the company is penetrating E-Commerce and content businesses.

SUPER jumped 8.79% as the company is expecting to book 550MW power project, while TRIS Rating upgraded its corporate rating to “BBB”.

BEAUTY expected a comeback in 2021 by fully penetrating online marketing to boost revenue.

GUNKUL rose 3.23% after acquiring a construction project for a 932.4KW solar rooftop.
