FDA Approves Moderna's Vaccine, Expecting to Ship 5.9 Million Doses Next Week.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Moderna‘s coronavirus vaccine for emergency use and expected to distribute 5.9 million doses to 64 states by next week.

 

Moderna is the second producer to get the approval from the U.S. FDA after the green light for Pfizer/BioNTech‘s coronavirus vaccine a week ago.

The approval for vaccine is expecting to bolster the supply to combat the pandemic that killed over 300,000 people in the U.S.
