“Patty” Puts on a Spectacular Show and Takes the Lead on 2nd-Day Honda LPGA Thailand

Patty Tavatanakit led the Honda LPGA competition on the second day, sitting as a leader with 13-under par, while Atthaya Thitikul came in second with 12-under par.


The second day of 2021 Honda LPGA in Chonburi, Thailand, for the $1.6 million prize, the home-country and 2021 ANA Inspiration Champion Patty Tavatanakit put on a spectacular show by leading the competition with 13-under par and 18-year-old Atthaya Thitikul trailed closely in a second position with 12-under par on the first 13 holes.

 

Meanwhile, two former world number one Ariya Jutanugarn and Lydia Ko sat in a share of 8th with 9-under par as of 13:50 local time in Thailand. Moriya Jutanugarn shared the 24th position with 4-under par.

Patty Tavatanakit is currently world’s number 12, Ariya Jutanugarn is world’s 33rd, Moriya Jutanugarn is world 40th and Atthaya Thitikul is world’s 308th.
