MINT Jumps 4% on Vaccine Optimism as New Covid-19 Cases in Spain Slow Down.


The share price of Minor International Public Company Limited (MINT) rose ฿1.00/share or 3.92% to close the morning session at ฿26.50/share with a trading value of 1,121 million baht.

 

The movement in MINT remained mostly positive in response to the progression of Covid-19 vaccine that Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna are expected to receive an approval from FDA within December. The destination for their first distribution would be to the U.S. and Europe.

 

Spain, where NH Hotel is located, reported 8,257 new coronavirus cases yesterday, the first time in more than one month that the number fell below ten thousand.

Meanwhile, the active coronavirus infections in Italy have been decreasing on a daily basis following restrictions imposed in early November to slow down the second wave of the pandemic. The Italian health minister Roberto Speranza is set to outline a plan for a national coronavirus vaccination programme on December 2, according to local media.
