NOK’s Creditors Approve the Rehabilitation Plan and Appoint 4 Administrators

NOK announced that its creditors approved the rehabilitation plan and appointed four administrators for the plan.


Nok Airlines Public Company Limited (NOK) announced that its creditors approved the rehabilitation plan and appointed four administrators for the plan.

 

As Central Bankruptcy Court has issued an order for NOK to proceed with rehabilitation and appointed the Planners as proposed by the Company on 4 November 2020 and the company submitted the business rehabilitation plan to the Official Receiver on 17 May 2021.

NOK announced that the Official Receiver has arranged for Creditors’ Meeting on 4 August 2021 according to Section 90/46 of the Bankruptcy Act B.E. 2483 (1940) (as amended), and resulting in 76.72 percent of the total debt of creditors who attended the meeting and casted votes accepting the Rehabilitation Plan that the Planners submitted to the Official Receiver on 17 May 2021 and plan amendment petition by the Planners on 30 July 2021.

According to the Creditors’ Meeting resolution with regard to the Rehabilitation Plan acceptance and the above-mentioned plan amendment petition, the following are the company’s proposed Plan Administrators:

1) Mr. Wutthiphum Jurangkool

2) Mr. Tai Chong Yih

3) Mr. Prinya Waiwatana

4) Mr. Chavalit Uttasart

 

The Central Bankruptcy Court scheduled a hearing to consider the Rehabilitation Plan on 26 August 2021. The company will report on the progress of the rehabilitation including progress on any other matters.
