NER’s Earnings Surge Nearly 200% in 6 Months, Offering Bt0.07 Dividend Payment

NER's earnings surged 95% in 2Q21 and 182% in the 6-month period on a higher sales volume, while handing out a Bt0.07 dividend.


North East Rubber Public Company Limited (NER) has announced its 2Q21 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;

NER reported a net profit of 438 million baht in 2Q21, increased 95.13% from a net profit of 224 million baht in 2Q20. As for the 6-month period, the company recorded a net profit of 805 million baht, increased 182.79% from a net profit of 284 million baht in the same period last year.

 

The surge of net profit in the first half of 2021 was mainly due to the increase in sales volume, which recorded at 205,954 tons, representing an increase of 78,622 tons or 61.75%. Meanwhile, revenue from sales was 11,252.64 million baht, an increase by 5,605.88 million baht or 99.28% YoY.

 

In addition, the Board of Directors approved an interim dividend payment of Bt0.07 per share to be paid on September 6, 2021. The ex-dividend date is August 23, 2021.
