ITD’s Joint Venture Signs the ฿7.3Bn Construction Contract for Expressway
ITD’s joint venture “ITD-VCB” signed the construction contract for Rama 3-Dao Khanong Expressway-Western Bangkok outer ring road project worth 7,359 million baht
Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited (ITD) announced that on October 11, 2021, the company and Vichitbhan Construction Company Limited, acting through their joint venture ITD –VCB, signed a contract with the Expressway Authority of Thailand for the Construction of Rama 3 – Dao Khanong expressway – western Bangkok outer ring road Project, Contract 3 (Civil Work) worth 7,359 million baht.
The project entails the construction of a 6 lanes elevated road, starting from km. 11+690.577 to km.16+694.752 with a total distance of approximately 5 km by using Precast Segmental Box Girder along the Chalerm Mahanakorn Expressway Dao Khanong – Suksawat – Rat Burana (ends of Rama 9 bridge). It shall be constructed to a Double deck expressway with the longest distance the expressway has ever operated . The duration of the project is 1,020 days.
