Kasikorn Securities (KS) has given a “BUY” recommendation on The Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited (SCB) with a target price at ฿117.00/share.
KS stated that SCB’s 4Q20 profit of Bt4.97bn (+7% QoQ, -10% YoY) beat the consensus estimate by 26%. Growth was spurred by recovering fee income (bancassurance and wealth management). Given its efficient cost control, KS revised down our credit cost assumptions in 2021, in line with management guidance.
Krungsri Securities (KSS) has given a “BUY” recommendation on Charoen Pokphand Public Company Limited (CPF) with a target price at ฿42.20/share.
KSS expected CPF’s 4Q20 net profit to come in at Bt7.4b (+8 4 % YoY), comprising Bt4.9b core profit (+1 8 %yoy) and Bt2.5b extra gain from changes in the value of CTI investment in China.
