ITD Signs Construction Contract for Bang Ban- Bang Sai Flood Drainage Canal Worth ฿2.7Bn

Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited (ITD) announced that on July 31, 2020, the company signed a contract with the Royal Irrigation Department to proceed with Bang Ban – Bang Sai Flood Drainage Canal Excavation work with Appurtenant Structures, Contract Number 2; the Bang Ban- Bang Sai Flood Drainage Canal Project at Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, with the contract value of 2,795,295,500 Baht.

 

The construction work comprised of 1) excavation of flood drainage canal as initial preparation, excavation of flood drainage canal, construction of gutter drains, construction of roads on canal embankment, and foundation soil improvement 2) construction of 2 plumbing stations 3) construction of 4 tail regulators and 4) construction of 1 canal bridge. The project is expected to completed within 1,080 days.
