SUPEREIF Reports a 10% Increase in 2Q21 Earnings, Offering THB0.25 Dividend

SUPEREIF recorded a 10% increase of net profit in 2Q21, while offering a THB 0.25204 cash dividend payment.


Super Energy Power Plant Infrastructure Fund (SUPEREIF) has announced its 2Q21 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;

SUPEREIF reported a net profit of 164 million baht in 2Q21, increased 10% from a net profit of 149 million baht in 2Q20.

 

Total Income for 2Q21 was 222.5 million baht, increasing 0.6% YoY, but decreasing 6.4% QoQ. The main reason for such increase was the rise of income from investment in the Net Revenue Transfer Agreement at 1.2% YoY to 222.0 million baht., but it dropped 6.6% QoQ. Other income was insurance claims received from property insurance policies.

In 2Q21, the Fund recorded Net Investment Income of 177.0 million baht, increasing 2.3% YoY due to the increase of Total Income and the decrease of Total Expenses, but decreasing 8.3% QoQ. Net Investment Income Margin in 2Q21 was 79.6%, compared to 78.3% in 2Q20 and 81.2% in 1Q21.

Total Expenses for 2Q21 was 45.5 million baht, down 5.5% YoY due to the lower finance costs from the reduction of the lender’s MLR and the gradual repayment of principal every month since December 2019, but up 2.0% QoQ.

In addition, the Board of Directors approved a cash dividend payment from the operating period from 01-Apr-2021 to 30-Jun-2021 of 0.25204 baht per unit to be paid on September 7, 2021. The ex-dividend date is on August 19, 2021.
