Thailand Cancels Visa/VOA of 21 Nations to Prevent the Virus not to Entering 3rd Stage


Regarding to the cabinet resolution of today meeting at the Government House, Thailand Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha has ordered to temporarily cancel the granting of visa-free to 3 countries; Hong Kong, Italy and Republic of Korea, and visa-on-arrival to 18 nations to control the spreading of coronavirus. The countries list of visa-on-arrival cancelled as follows;

1) Republic of Bulgaria

2) Kingdom of Bhutan

3) People’s Republic of China, including Taiwan

4) Republic of Cyprus

5) Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia

6) Republic of Fiji   

7) Georgia

8) Republic of India

9) Republic of Kazakhstan

10) Republic of Malta

11) United Mexican States

12) Republic of Nauru

13) Papua New Guinea

14) Romania

15) Russia Federation

16) Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

17) Republic of Uzbekistan

18) Republic of Vanuatu

The cancellation applies to a visa-free and visa-on-arrival by the Government is subjected to prevent the contagious outbreak not to entering into the third stage.
