ILINK Earns ฿250Mn from the Disposal of 4.85% Stake in ITEL
ILINK sold a 4.85% share in ITEL to MFC Asset Management Public Company Limited for a total of 205 million baht in order to strengthen the company's liquidity.
Interlink Communication Public Company Limited (ILINK) announced that the Board of Directors’ Meeting held on Wednesday 7 July 2021, has resolved to approve the disposition of assets for ordinary shares of Interlink Telecom Public Company Limited (ITEL), the company’s subsidiary, in the amount of 50 million shares or equal to 4.85% of total paid-up shares capital of ITEL at 4.10 baht per share at the total amount of 205 million baht to MFC Asset Management Public Company Limited. The success of the transaction is expected to be completed within 8 July 2021.
After the completion of the transaction, shareholding proportion of the company will reduce to 55.46% from 60.31% of total paid-up shares capital of ITEL. ITEL has a shareholding structure before and after the entering into this transaction is shown in the following table.
The transaction will allow the company to open a channel for investors of financial institutions to invest with subsidiaries and to increase liquidity of the company.
