Thai baht continues weakening to hit 15-month low since April 2020 amid a continuing surge in coronavirus cases. As of 13:44 local time in Thailand, Thai currency fell to 32.70 baht to the US dollar.

The baht today (July 9) opened at 32.66 to the US dollar, weakening from its close of 32.46 baht.

The analyst from Bangkok Bank forecast Thai baht to remain weak and could decline to 32.50-32.80 baht to the US dollar.
