SUPER Jumps 12% after SEC Greenlights “SUPEREIF”, Expecting Units Offering in April

SUPER jumps as much as 11.8% in the morning session to ฿0.66/share after SEC approves Super Energy Power Plant Infrastructure Fund (SUPEREIF).


Super Energy Corporation Public Company Limited (SUPER) has announced that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved Super Energy Power Plant Infrastructure Fund (SUPEREIF), having Bualuang Securities Company Limited as the fund manager.

Fund units offering must be done after the two solar power plants have granted all related adjustment licenses. As of now, two power plants have already started its commercial operating run (COD) with electricity quantity according to the power purchase agreement equal to 12 MW.

After COD, the Department of Highways has expropriated some portion of land from the aforementioned two sites. Consequently, both sites have to remove some equipment and adjust the plant’s area and also applied for adjustment of all related licenses. All applications for licenses are now in processing and expect to be finished within April 2019.

 

The share price of SUPER rose as much as 11.8% to ฿0.66/share in the first hour of the morning session on March 14, 2019, after the announcement from the company. At 10:55 local time, SUPER gained ฿0.05/share or 8.47% to ฿0.64/share with THB 255 million in value.
