SUPER invests in solar power plant project in Vietnam with a capacity of 50 megawatts.


Super Energy Corporation Public Company Limited (SUPER) published the solution of the Board of Direction’s Meeting No.1/2020, the company has approved for investment in solar power plant project in Vietnam. 1 project with a total installed capacity of 50 megawatts. A SUPER’s subsidiary company Super Solar Energy (Hong Kong) 3 CO., LTD (SSE-HK3) has acquired the shares in Thinh Long Phu Yen Solar Power Joint Stock Company (TLPY)  a “Project Company”, from 4 existing shareholders of TLPY in the proportion of 100% of shares of the Project Company. With the total transaction value approximately USD 51,158,000 or not beyond Baht 1,585,898,000

The TLPY project is placed in PHU YEN province, Vietnam which has been selling electricity since 30 June, 2019 under the Power Purchase Agreement in the form of Feed-in Tariff, including power purchase rate of 9.35 US cents/kWh hour for a period of 20 years from the date of commercial operation (COD)
