8 Energy Stocks Surge after Crude Oil Futures Rebound, PTTEP-TOP Rise More than 6%


Energy and Utilities stocks today (June 5) were closed higher after oil prices recovered, including PTTEP, TOP, ESSO, SPRC, PTT, SGP, BCP and IRPC.

 

PTTEP closed at ฿98.75/share rose ฿6.00/share or 6.47%. The highest was ฿ 101.50/share and the lowest was ฿90.75/share with a trading value of THB 5.98 billion.

 

TOP closed at ฿50.50/share rose ฿3.25/share or 6.88%. The highest was ฿51.00/share and the lowest was ฿46.50/share with a trading value of THB 2.40 billion.

 

ESSO closed at ฿7.20/share rose ฿0.40/share or 5.88%. The highest was ฿7.40/share and the lowest was ฿6.70/share with a trading value of THB 755 million.

 

IRPC closed at ฿3.06/share rose ฿0.14/share or 4.79%. The highest was ฿3.08/share and the lowest was ฿2.92/share with a trading value of THB 1.09 billion.

 

SPRC closed at ฿7.70/share rose ฿0.30/share or 4.05%. The highest was ฿8.00/share and the lowest was ฿7.30/share with a trading value of THB 646 million.

 

PTT closed at ฿39.50/share rose ฿1.50/share or 3.95%. The highest was ฿40.50/share and the lowest was ฿37.50/share with a trading value of THB 6.79 billion.

 

SGP closed at ฿9.40/share rose ฿0.35/share or 3.87%. The highest was ฿9.65/share and the lowest was ฿9.40/share with a trading value of THB 207 million.

 

BCP closed at ฿23.50/share rose ฿0.80/share or 3.52%. The highest was ฿23.90/share and the lowest was ฿22.30/share with a trading value of THB 169 million.

 

Asia Wealth Securities (AWS) reported WTI for July delivery has closed at $37.41/bbl rose $0.12/bbl or 0.3%, while Brent for August delivery was at $39.99/bbl rose $0.20/bbl or 0.5% due to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) posted that US crude oil inventories for the week ended May 29 has decreased by 2.1 million bbl.

 

However, yesterday (June 4), there was no OPEC+ meeting as market expected, but still believes that the meeting will be held as scheduled between June 9 – 10 if Iraq and other OPEC+ allies insist to further reduce oil production.
