AP Launches “HOMEMADE STORY” under the Idea to “Make Home More Than Home”

‘AP Thailand’ launches major campaign ‘HOMEMADE STORY,’ joined with famous artists and YouTubers join to create their fave spaces in ‘Make Home More Than Home’ to fulfill life now and tomorrow.

AP (Thailand) Public Co., Ltd. (AP) launched a major campaign called ‘HOMEMADE STORY’ under the concept of ‘Make Home More Than Home’. As part of the campaign, the company has joined hands with 8 artists from LOVEiS & FRIENDS record label and 7 well-known YouTubers to embark on a mission to create their favourite spaces in response to the Next Normal lifestyle in AP’s single detached homes under Centro, The City and The Palazzo brands.

Experience new perspectives on living in a home that offers more space functions to meet every urban life need in a 13-part special series which airs on Facebook and YouTube APThai. The first episode airs Saturday, 11 July.

Mr. Vittakarn Chandavimol, Chief Corporate Strategy and Creation, AP Thailand Group, said, “The COVID-19 pandemic that broke out and is likely to stay for a while has changed the lifestyle of people in society. In particular, everyone is spending longer time at home and back to spend time with family. They have more private time at home. The change makes the meaning of home more profound than it used to be. It prompted AP to launch a major campaign called ‘HOMEMADE STORY Make Home More Than Home so as to communicate the thinking and working behind single detached homes of AP which aims to deliver homes that truly understand life. Every component inside a home is from now on put in a new context. The size of space and space function will be able to support people of different generations living together in a family.  These things will be key factors determining home-buying decisions in addition to location and price package.”

“We believe that some behaviours only change temporarily, while many are permanent. As such, we need to develop a home that supports Next Normal way of life, one that performs multiple functions, whether it be a school for children, a family restaurant, mummy’s gym or dad’s office, for example. For our approach, we rather attend to designing space to increase space functions to make sure that every space inside an AP home will be able to fulfill urban family’s desired lifestyle. It’s a principle AP has always attached importance to,” said Mr. Vittakarn.

Mrs. Pimpun Preechanont, Executive Vice President, Single Detached Home, AP (Thailand) Public Co., Ltd., said, “We worked with 8 artists from the LOVEiS & FRIENDS record label and 7 famous YouTubers representing all generations of a family to present impressive stories and happy moments that happened from living in AP single detached homes under the Make Home More Than Home concept. All stories are told through music and different kinds of creative activities in a 13-part special series, the first episode of which will air on Saturday 11 July. We believe it will surely make people happy, laugh and get new ideas to live their Next Normal lives at home.”

Mr. Thep-ard Kawin-anan, CEO, LOVEiS Entertainment Co., Ltd., commenting on the collaboration with AP for the HOMEMADE STORY campaign, said, “At LOVEiS, we work so much like a family that everyone is bonded together and it shows in the songs we made.  Each lyric and melody come from our personality. Our music is a ‘space’ that connects the feeling and understanding between the artists and their fans. It’s no different from how AP thinks when they design their single detached homes, where every interior space has to connect different generations in a family in addition to supporting individual private lives.”

“In this HOMEMADE STORY campaign, 8 artists from LOVEiS & FRIENDS are Lipta, Singto Numchok, Pod Thanachai Ujjin, Panpan Yeeyee, Ben Chalatit, Mariam Grey Alkalali, LaMun Band, and MEAN. Together, they would carry out their missions that are grouped into 6 Space Missions for them to make the real use of space in AP single detached homes. We believe that fans will enjoy the stories, lifestyles, music production by the artists in a beautiful, shaded atmosphere inside the AP single detached home projects. Each artist would come up with new ideas to make use of the home spaces differently according to their lifestyle and generation. In each episode, you will see new ideas on how home spaces are used and you will be treated to beautiful live music from the artists, along with surprises that will surely make the audience smile,” said Mr. Thep-ard.

On behalf of artists from LOVEiS & FRIENDS, ‘Pod’ Thanachai Ujjin, said, “The situation made everyone adapt and get accustomed to spending time and doing activities at home more than before. So, the meaning of home may not be just a place to live for home has become life. Every square metre of space in your home is more meaningful. In the campaign HOMEMADE STORY, I will show everyone my favourite corner at home in an artsy mission called Art From Home. Stay tuned to see whether it works or not. But I guarantee that it will be definitely artsy.”

‘Panpan Peeyee’ Rasika Saiseang, said, “I grew up with a family philosophy that encourages you to go for what you like or want to do because everything you do is an important experience. It reflects through my lifestyle and music that are full of fresh creative ideas. When I got the special opportunity to perform the Art From Home mission in the HOMEMADE STORY campaign with Pod, it made me even more excited because not only was it the first time we collaborated, Pod and I also shared a passion for art. What they wanted us to create was an artsy space in an AP home. We ask you to follow our mission to see how we combined our own style of art ideas to create a new space. It will be exciting for sure.”

“HOMEMADE STORY the campaign to make home more than home also worked with seven well-known YouTubers, namely March Chutavuth Pattrakampol, Ploy Chidjun & Family, asapapailong, Mint I Roam Alone, Peach Eat Laek, Spin 9 and Bearhug They would carry out 7 Space Missions to communicate new lifestyle ideas in AP single detached homes through all-flavoured stories channeling warmth, enjoyment, and creativity, and what it would be like if the whole house is turned into a tourist destination at a time when tour YouTubers are forced to stay at home,” Mrs. Pimpun said.
