SUPER Invests in a 24/7 Waste-Disposal Power Generation to Ramp Up Revenue Continuously.


Super Energy Corporation Public Company Limited (SUPER) has announced that On March 16, 2021, Green Power Energy Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of SUPER, entered into an agreement of Private projects to jointly invest in the construction and management of waste disposal systems with Nakhon Si Thammarat Municipality.

The project will operate a power plant project from fuels from municipal waste with a capacity of 20 megawatts with a commercial power distribution agreement to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) in the amount of 16 megawatts. And the power purchase rate in the form of Feed-in Tariff (FiT) is 3.66 baht with a 20-year contract.

The project will help drive the company’s revenue to grow continuously because it is a project that can be operated and generate income 24 hours a day. In this regard, the company will proceed with relevant licenses and set up a construction plan.

 

SUPER currently has an operating waste power plant and is in the process of developing a total of 6 projects, total electricity volume of 64 megawatts. The waste power plant project of SUPER’s subsidiaries, totaling 2 projects, with a total power purchase agreement of 18 megawatts, is a project that supplies electricity into the commercial system (COD) to the Provincial Electricity Authority.
