Maybank stated that BGRIM’s 1Q21 earnings were 611 million baht, increased 654% YoY and 61% QoQ, driven by higher industrial electricity consumption and a COD on the Cambodia Solar Project EBITDA Margin increased to 32% from 29% in 1Q20 on declining gas prices that continued to decline in 2Q20 an additional positive catalyst.
Maybank Kim Eng has given a “BUY” recommendation on Singer Thailand Public Company Limited (SINGER) with a target price at ฿50.00/share.
Maybank expected SINGER’s to report 1Q21 profit of 140 million baht, an increase of 62% YoY and 13% QoQ. Sales grew steadily, coupled with interest income increasing 50% YoY and 12% QoQ based on C4C portfolio (+18% QoQ), good asset quality. It is also enlisted in the MSCI Global Small Cap in this round with the opportunity to be included in SET 100 index as well.
