A Huge Decline in Selling Expenses Benefits ILINK to Book a 22% Increase in 1Q21 Earnings

Due to the Covid-19 situation, ILINK managed to lower its selling expenses by 21% and booked higher net profit by 22.5% at 74.76 million baht.


Interlink Communication Public Company Limited (ILINK) has announced its 1Q21 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;

ILINK reported a net profit of 74.76 million baht in 1Q21, increased 22.53% from a net profit of 61.02 million baht in 1Q21.

 

For the three-month period ended March 31, 2021, the company’s total revenues were 1,336.85 million baht, slightly decreased by 12.53 million baht or approximately 0.93% from 1Q20.

 

Due to the Covid-19, the company was necessary to entirely adjust the marketing strategy. Most seminars and events such as product launch, training, and sales expo are developed to be fully visual events instead of physical events. Moreover, digital marketing tools were highly adopted to meet customer’s needs.

As a result, for the three-month period ended March 31, 2021, selling expenses decreased from the same period of prior year by 20.12 million baht or approximately 21.24% while financial costs slightly declined as the company was able to collect accrued revenue from several megaprojects during the year.
