Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited (BBL) has approved a long-term credit loan to Dusit Thani Public Company Limited (DUSIT) for its business operations, plus a property development loan towards new hotels under DUSIT’s new ASAI Hotels brand, as well as projects under the company’s real estate development business.
This includes DUSIT’s most significant property development to date, Dusit Central Park, a 23-rai mixed-use project opposite Lumpini Park in the heart of Bangkok on the corner of Silom and Rama IV roads.
Being developed under Vimarn Suriya Company Limited, a subsidiary of DUSIT, the project will comprise the new flagship Dusit Thani Bangkok Hotel alongside the Central Park Shopping Centre, Central Park Offices, Dusit Residences and Dusit Parkside condominiums, and a large rooftop park. The company has just appointed Ritta Company Limited as a main contractor. Construction is continuing as planned with underground work now underway.
The first phase of the project, which comprises the new Dusit Thani Bangkok Hotel, is expected to open at the end of 2023. The Central Park and Central Park Offices will follow in 2024, and the residences will be completed around 2025.
