SPCG Aims to Join Japanese Partners to Construct 5 Solar Farm Projects

SPCG has announced that the company is planning to join with Japanese partners to construct five solar farm projects for a total of 66.9 MW.


SPCG Public Company Limited (SPCG) has announced that the company has planned to entered into a joint venture to establish a subsidiary in Japan to invest in the solar farm project, which consists of five projects for a total of 66.9 MW.

In this joint venture, SPCG will hold 17% stake, Kyocera Corporation, Japan (Kyocera) will hold 49%, and Mitsubishi Research Institute, Inc. (MRI) will hold 34%. The investment the project is approximately THB 235 million, expecting to be completed by 2020-2022.

 

Projects to be constructed:
1. Kumamoto (1) Ichinomiya, Capacity 1.9 MW
2. Kumamoto (1) Mashiki, Capacity 1.5 MW
3. Kumamoto Kurumagaeri, Capacity 1.5 MW
4. Kumamoto Minamata, Capacity 24 MW
5. Kyoto Watsuka, Capacity 38 MW
