CWT Joins CNCH to Sign an MOU for the Production of “ETRAN”’s EV Motorbike

Mr. Weerapon Chaiteerath, Chairman of the Board Director of Chai Watana Tannery Group Public Company Limited (CWT), has stated that “SakunC,” which is a subsidiary of CWT, and Choknamchai Hitech Pressing Co., Ltd. (CNCH) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for research, development, production design and produce electric motorbikes (model: KRAF Limited) for ETRAN (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

SakunC will responsible for the consultancy of the research and development of the product while providing technical support and other coordinated works with ETRAN. CNCH will work on the model, production and assembly.

KRAF Limited will be displayed on September 9, 2019 with an expectation of positive feedback. The model will be the first EV motorbike to be produced and sold by Thai companies.

Meanwhile, ETRAN also agrees that SakunC and CNCH will produce a prototype of EV motorbike “PROM” around 3,000 units. The production will start on November 2019 and the transfer will be within the first quarter of 2020.

Moreover, ETRAN has granted SakunC and CNCH the rights to develop, design and produce EV motorbike for the model that already existed and the future models ETRAN plans to produce.

ETRAN is a startup in the automobile business who designs products for environment-friendly public transportation, using electricity to run the engine instead of gas. The company aims to be a leading innovative company in sustainable public transportation.
