FPT Appoints “Thanapol Sirithanachai” as Country CEO to Lead the New Integrated Platform

FPT appoints Mr. Thanapol Sirithanachai as its Country CEO, to lead his role in creating growth for its new integrated real estate platform.


The Board of Directors of the Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited (FPT), today resolved to appoint Mr. Thanapol Sirithanachai as its Country Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 17 August, 2020.

 

FPT stated that Mr. Sirithanachai, will play an integral role in leading and building a growth path for FPT in Thailand and will also be a key person to drive forward FPT’s investment strategies that support the well-balanced corporate competency on the same platform.

Last year, FPT completed the acquisition of Golden Land Property Development Public Company Limited (GOLD), enabling FPT to become a leading integrated real estate platform in Thailand, with a balanced and diversified portfolio spanning across industrial, & logistics, residential, commercial and hospitality. Today, FPT has total assets of over Baht 100,000 million.

Mr. Sopon Racharaksa, in his current role as President at Frasers Property Thailand, will be working closely with Mr. Sirithanachai, to help develop the new structure for FPT, which will be announced later.

I believe we have an added competitive edge with a bigger network of customer touchpoints and greater flexibility to optimize the use of our land banks and properties in Thailand, along with enhancing FPT’s earnings and return on equity,” said Mr. Sirithanachai.

           

Mr. Thanapol Sirithanachai is a knowledgeable real estate veteran with a strong track record and over 30 years of experience. Prior to his joining Frasers Property, Mr. Sirithanachai was the President of Golden Land Property Development PLC, or Goldenland.

At Goldenland, Mr. Sirithanachai turned the company’s operations from loss to profit within three years of his leadership. Goldenland then emerged to be among the top five real estate corporations in Thailand within seven years. Its developments cover a wide range of asset types ranging from office towers, service apartments, hotels, to low-rise developments such as single detached homes and townhomes. Its latest mixed-use project, Samyan Mitrtown, received an overwhelming market response.

Prior to this, Mr. Sirithanachai served as the Managing Director of Univentures PLC. He led the company to create “Park Ventures – The Ecoplex on Witthayu”, the best office building in Bangkok and one that is also well recognized for its high international energy conservation standard.

In addition, Mr. Sirithanachai has been engaged in many social activities and charities, including undertaking the role of Chairman of the IMET Mentorship Academy for Excellent Leaders (IMET MAX) project, which is a project under the Institute for Management Education for Thailand Foundation (IMET). He also serves as a Senior Executive Vice President of the Chanapatana International Design Institution.

Mr. Sirithanachai graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Chulalongkorn University and earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University, the United States.
