SET Surges 33pts as Fund Inflow Buoys the Market to Challenge 1,500pts Resistance Level.

SET Index continued its gain to 1,483.13 points, increased 33.30 points or 2.30% with a trading value of 71.3 billion baht as of 14:42 local time in Thailand on Tuesday.

Finansia Syrus Securities (FSS) stated that the Thai stock market outperformed regional markets due to the buying pressure from yesterday’s absence that gave a good amount of gain to the stock markets.

The buying pressure, mainly on banking and electronics stocks, in today’s session buoyed the market to break the resistance level at 1,450 points. The gain expanded SET’s upside to 1,500 points in which the analyst believed the surge was due to fund inflow and expected the momentum to continue, giving a support level at 1,455 points and a resistance level at 1,480-1,500 points.
