EP Records 74% Increase in 2020 Earnings from ฿1.5Bn Recognition of Asset Disposals. The Company Offers a Bt0.25 Dividend Payment with an XD on April 27.


Eastern Power Group Public Company Limited (EP) has reported its yearly consolidated financial statement of 2020 through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;

In 2020, EP reported a net profit of 1,135 million baht, increased 74.20% compared to a net profit of 651 million baht in 2019. The increase in net profit was due to a recognition of disposal of investment from solar power plants totaling 1,567.17 million baht, which are the sale of solar power plants in Thailand, a total of 4 projects. The total capacity of 20 Megawatts which consists of 2 projects at Bo-Ploi power plants, size10 Megawatts, Lopburi power plant 5 Megawatts and Prachinburi power plant 5 Megawatts and from the sale of solar power plants in Japan 3 projects with a total capacity of 31.75 Megawatts, 9.52 Megawatts Kurihara-1 project, the 12.24 MW Kurihara-2 project and 9.99 MW Kyotemba project in Q3-4Q20.

 

In addition, the Board of Directors of EP resolved a resolution to pay a dividend payment of ฿0.25/share to be paid on May 14, 2021. The ex-dividend date is April 27, 2021.
