EGCO Completes the ฿2.62bln. Deal to Hold 49% of 1,823MW “Paju ES” Power Plant
On January 15, 2019, EGCO announced that the company had completed the transaction of “Paju ES” deal to hold 49% of South Korea “Paju ES” Power Plant with a total capacity of 1,823 MW.
Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (EGCO) reported that the company has completed the transaction in the investment of ฿2.62 billion to hold 49% of interest in Paju Energy Services Co. Ltd., (Paju ES), owned by SK E&S Co., Ltd, who operates combined-cycle power plant “Paju ES” in South Korea with a total capacity of 1,823 MW.
The transaction was made through EGCO’s wholly owned subsidiary, Gen Plus B.V., which signed a sale and purchase agreement with the seller on November 14, 2018.
