Breaking News! Donald Trump Tests Positive for Covid-19! Dow Futures Drop 2%

The U.S. President Donald Trump announced early Friday morning he and first lady Melania Trump tested positive for coronavirus. 

 

“Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!” Trump tweeted on his official account.

Trump said earlier on Thursday that he was beginning a quarantine process after his top adviser, Hope Hicks, tests positive for coronavirus. 

 

Dow Jones Futures immediately dropped 477 points or 1.72% after Trump said he tested positive for coronavirus via twitter. S&P 500 plunged 1.64% and the U.S. tech heavy lost 1.74%.
