Korean Central Bank Raised Interest Rates and Furthur Monetary Tightening Awaits

Bank of Korea on thursday raised interest rate and revised outlook on inflation


Central bank of South Korea on Thursday, raised interest rate and revised outlook on inflation amid concerns of rising household debt. Further policy tightening is expected next year.

The Bank of Korea raised interest rates by 25 basis points to 1.00% which was highly anticipated by consensus.
