CHO Asserts the Fire Incident Has No Effect to Business, Limiting Damage to ฿2,000

Regarding the fire incident near CHO's head office, the company asserts that the damage cost was only THB 2,000.


Cho Thavee Public Company Limited (CHO) has made an announcement regarding the fire incident yesterday near the garbage collection area, located behind the Company’s Head Office, Khon Kaen Province, around 14:00 local time.

The company states that the fire was under control and extinguished at 02.45 p.m. The fire caused by used colour paint buckets, which located near the the garbage collection area, they were prepared for a trash collector company to collect for a disposal. A flame occurred by the hot weather causing the burned trash area, but the fire does not spread to other significant areas.

CHO has estimated the damage cost, including, lamps with bulbs mount on the wall surrounded CHO in 1 areas, the damage cost was approximately THB 2,000.

 

In this regard, the accidental fire incident does not affect factories, equipment, tools, personnel, and surrounding areas of the company and its subsidiaries. They could be operated normally.

Nevertheless, CHO shall contract related Government Sectors to evaluate environmental effects, for the improvement of safety regarding the occupational safety and health of personnel in factories and inhabitants who live in communities surrounding CHO, as the social and environmental awareness.
