“Arkhom” Asks AOT to Delay and Reconsider the Auction
Mr. Arkhom has asked AOT to delay the duty-free auction to reconsider if the auction should undergo the process of public-private joint venture Act or not.
Mr. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, Ministry of Transport, has asked Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT), an airport duty-free auctioneer, to delay the auction and reconsider on the matter of whether the auction is considered a part of the public-private joint venture Act or not. If it is, the auction would be delayed further and could affect the new duty-free operator as the concession will be expired in 2020.
