SONIC Expands Business in DG Transportation as the One-Stop-Service Logistics Leader


Ph.D. Santisuk Kosiarpanant, a Chief Executive Officer of Sonic Interfreight Co., Ltd. (SONIC) and affiliated companies, has stated that all of the 20 years of business operation, SONIC has been succeeding in the continuous development of logistics transportation system. Moreover, SONIC also plans to expand the business in other fields to cover all of the business functions or one-stop-service and increase customer groups to achieve the target profit in 2019.

Latest, in May 2019, SONIC has received the additional expansion for the business of Dangerous Goods (DG) transportation services by land, water, and air with the nationwide service level under the guarantee of IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), The International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG Code), and  the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR). Moreover, the service will be provided all around the world with accuracy, speed, and safety.  

One-Stop-Service of the dangerous goods transportation service is divided into 8 types as in the details below

1) DG Packaging, Marking & Labelling: selling the packaging and Labels of the dangerous goods by type of hazard goods

2) Consultancy: providing accurate advice on dangerous goods transportation by the DG experts who expertise in DG more than 10 years 

3) DG Packing Service: providing the service of DG packing under nationwide dangerous goods transportation regulations

4) DG Re-Packing & Re-Containing Service: providing the service of changing containers as the customer’s request both inside and outside the company. 

5) On-Site inspection Service: providing the service of checking the accuracy of DG good before sending out. 

6) Documentary Preparation: providing the service of preparation and providing the important document for DG transportation such as Shipper’s Declaration, SDS as the GHS system with the accurate import and export to prevent and avoid the return and suspend from shipping.

7) DG Training Institute: arranging the training of IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (IATA DGR) and The International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG Code) under the cooperation of Chulalongkorn University.

8) Warehouse service:  providing the service of temporary dangerous goods storage services to arrange the shipment as in the customer’s shipping schedule.
