PTG Plans to Increase the Number of Cafe, Expecting to Gain the Revenue from Non-Oil Business


Mr. Pitak Rachagitprakan, CEO of PTG Energy PLC (PTG) has informed on the meeting that PTG is expanding coffee shops and convenience stores to diversify from the oil business.
Currently, PTG owns 311 coffee shops and 177 convenience stores. PTG expected to gain revenue from an increase in the number of cafes and list them into the main revenue of non-oil Business in 2022.

PTG operates 1,953 of gasoline stations and plans to increase the number of gasoline stations to more than 2,000 this year.

As a result of the investment, PTG expects “strong” earnings growth for the rest of this year, boosted by revenue from gas stations, coffee outlets, and convenience stores. Meanwhile, PTG’s share price increased 138% YTD, SET Index gained 3.6% YTD, Mr. Pitak said.
