EPCO Announces a Soaring Profit in 2019 by 90%, Offering a Dividend at ฿0.20/Share.


Eastern Printing Public Company Limited (EPCO) has reported its yearly consolidated financial statement of 2019 through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;

EPCO reported a net profit in 2019 at 651 million baht, increased 90.13% when compared to a net profit of 342 million baht in 2018. The increase in net profit was mainly due to EPCO’s higher revenue from sales and services, and gain from the disposal of investment.

EPCO recorded revenue from sales and services in the amount of Baht 1,530.27 million, an increase of Baht 543 million or 55.00%, which was an increase of revenue from printing business at Baht 150.16 million or 35.09% compared with the same period of last year.

Moreover, EPCO’s subsidiary has sold two solar power plant projects in Phu Yen Province, Socialist Republic of Vietnam, namely XT1 and XT2, with a total capacity of 99.216 Megawatts in the 4th quarter of 2019. Therefore, profits from sales of power plants are recognized in the amount of Baht 543.01 million.

 

In addition, the Board of Directors of EPCO has approved a resolution for a dividend payment to be paid on May 15, 2020, at a value of ฿0.20/share with an ex-dividend date on April 28, 2020.
