Stocks in Focus on May 20, 2020: CENTEL and KTC

Stocks in Focus on May 20, 2020: CENTEL (KGI Securities TP at ฿26.00/share) and KTC (Krungsri Securities TP at ฿45.50/share).

Kaohoon Online has selected stocks with a potential of high growth for investors to consider on May 20, 2020.

KGI Securities has given an “Outperform” rating on Central Plaza Hotel Public Company Limited (CENTEL) with a target price at ฿26.00/share.

KGI expected CENTEL’s operations in Thailand to hit bottom in 2Q20. Restaurants have resumed dine-in services since mid-May, while hotels will selectively resume operation to capture domestic demand. However, hotels in Maldives are still closed with no signs of re-opening in the near future.

Among stocks in KGI’s coverage, the security company continued to favor CENTEL as i) it has the lowest financial risks, and ii) its restaurant business should be more resilient than hotel business.

Krungsri Securities (KSS) has given a “BUY” recommendation on Krungthai Card Public Company Limited (KTC) with a target price at ฿45.00/share.

KSS expected MPC to announce a policy rate cut today, while the reopening of department stores, retailers, and building material shops will drive card spending. More importantly, KTC will also be added to the MSCI effective May 29.
