COM7 Asserts a Slight Effect from US-Huawei Dispute, Targeting 10% Revenue Growth in 2019

COM7 believes the dispute between US and Huawei will have a slight effect to the company as Huawei's smartphone contribute only 3% of its revenue.


Regarding to the tension of trade war which believed to be the cause of Huawei getting blacklisted, COM7 Public Company Limited (COM7) has stated that the company is not concern of the issue since buyers can go for a different brand as the company is originally the leading distributor of all brands.

In COM7 1Q19 financial statement, smartphone contributes 51% of its revenue while having 20% growth ratio. Currently, the sales of Huawei’s smartphone contributes to only 3% of the overall revenue.

Moreover, COM7 has asserted that the company does not rely on only one brand and does not focus only on smartphones. COM7 still owns products such as accessories, tablets, and PC etc. while targeting the gaming sector and Internet of Things’ products. Confidently, COM7 projects 2019 revenue to grow 10% at the minimum.
