CKP Aims to Book ฿400m p.a. After Renting Sub-Power Station “Nabong” to Laos Government.


Mr. Vorapote U.Choepaiboonvong, Director of CK Power Public Company Limited (CK) and its subsidiary, Nam Ngum 2 Company Limited (NN2) has entered into a singing agreement to improve and rent sub-power station Nabong.

The project is to increase the efficiency of power station by upgrading its voltage from 230 kW to 500 kW. Once upgraded, the power station will be able to support and connect to other power plants in the country both current plants and future plants. Moreover, the electricity could be transmitted to The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand as well. CKP will book a rent from Laos government at an approximately THB 400 million per annum throughout the concession.
